Rovicid Supplement Facts

Rovicid contains a proprietary blend of natural ingredients designed to improve heart health.

Niacin-Rovicid provides approximately twice the recommended daily allowance (RDA) of niacin. Niacin is thought to help lower cholesterol levels.

Vitamin B6-Rovicid contains 500 times the RDA of vitamin B6. This amount is expected to prevent a deficiency of this vitamin, which is correlated with elevated homocysteine levels. High homocysteine levels are associated with an increased risk of coronary artery disease and heart attack. Taking Rovicid may reduce homocysteine levels.

Folic Acid-Rovicid provides twice the RDA of folic acid, which also helps lower homocysteine levels. Folic acid supplementation in combination with vitamin B12 is expected to further reduced blood homocysteine levels. Folate also appears to have antioxidant activity and may help in elevating nitric oxide production, which helps protect blood vessels.

Selenium-Rovicid provides 100 mcg selenium L-methionine complex per day. This amount should prevent a deficiency, which is associated with high homocysteine levels and the development of cardiovascular disease. Selenium also helps to prevent oxidative stress.

Plant Sterols-Rovicid provides 400 mg of plant sterols, which may help lower LDL cholesterol when taken as a food additive.

Hawthorn Extracts-Rovicid contains hawthorn leaf and flower extracts, which may assist in the functioning of heart.

Grape Seed-Rovicid contains 75 mg per day of a grape seed extract. Grape seed is thought to help maintain normal blood capillary function through their antioxidant activity.
